The Increased Need for Intelligent Buildings

Session synopsis

We spend up to 90% of our lives in buildings. It’s where we’re born, raised and educated. It’s where we eat, sleep and enjoy ourselves. It’s where we work, develop and prosper. But recently, our daily routines have changed. Same as our ways of working, our momentum, our modes of connection, our business processes. The way we rehearse, experience and imagine things have all been disrupted. How can we leverage Building Internet of Things (BIoT) to adapt better to the new normal?

Why should people attend?

Recently in the built sector, there is a lot of buzz on Digital Transformation. But mostly, the emphasis is on Building Information Modelling (BIM) and related trends. However, there is an equally important role for technology to play in how we experience buildings. Hence, the increased need for Intelligent Buildings.
